Burgas News has reported that police were summoned to the car park of Neftochimic 1962, where chairman Petar Danchev’s BMW was seriously vandalised. It appears to have been attacked with a sledgehammer.
In addition, obscene graffiti was scrawled on the car’s windows in indelible ink.
The police are said to be stumped: neither they nor Mr Danchev can think of a motive for the attack. The police are appealing to members of the public to come forward with any suspicions.
Transfer deal confirmed
In unrelated news, Mr Danchev has confirmed that they have sold Lyudmil Slavov to CSKA Sofia. The deal is reported to have been conducted over the head of club manager Grigor Pasha, who is said to have opposed the deal.
Pasha was unavailable for comment. He was reported to have been too busy, ‘returning an instrument that he had borrowed from a friend who works in demolition’.
